A special THANK YOU from AARON Johnson

Dear Friends and Neighbors:   My congratulations to all the men and women who sought the District 35 State Senate seat for a spirited campaign.   I also want to thank the people and supporters of Douglas and Fulton counties. My family and I will never be able to truly express to you our sincere gratitude for your support. Tuesday’s results put us near the top, but we did not finish where we had hoped. However, I am still committed to our fight to reduce crime, gridlock traffic and our effort to increase school funding for our kids.   It was truly a great effort and we are proud of the terrific outreach that was achieved in such a short time.  I believe we have built a strong foundation for future endeavors and the rebuilding of our communities.   Based on the response from so many of you, it is clear to me, that the work we started during this campaign did not end Tuesday night, in fact, it’s just beginning.   I plan to keep our Web site, Facebook group page and Twitter accounts active so we can continue to engage one another on the issues that concern all us. Our dialogue must continue and I plan to do just that.   In the interim, I will get back to what has made me what I am, my family; cooking dinner with my wife, reading stories with my son and getting my exercise walking through the mall with my daughter. I am also excited to continue my duties as a community liaison for the Office of the Fulton County Chairman. You can count on me to ensure that your needs are met when it comes to the delivery of services to you and neighbors. Again, thanks for your help, your prayers, love and support.
